The NYU Global Leaders and Scholars in STEM (GLASS) program is an honors program that accompanies academically successful and globally oriented students along their NYU career, by putting them in contact with similar peers, and providing global/career/academic opportunities. Students are also assigned the responsibility of addressing a UN global challenge for their capstone project.
During my time in the GLASS program, I have focused on researching how fixed wing drones could be used to deliver medical supplies in low infrastructure areas, before pivoting to researching dynamically complex indirect systems for logistics, merging my project with my ongoing senior design project of solving a maze on a ball and plate system.
